“Dark purple in the glass, this wine offers up complex aromas 

of spiced dark fruits with a hint of smoky oak. Rich dark 

fruit flavours of blackberry, black currant and blueberry are 

accented with baking spices and pepper. Offers smooth, 

integrated tannins and full mouth feel with a rounded 

lengthy finish. Try with spiced ribs or grilled lamb. ”


“The 2010 growing season was a challenging but rewarding one. 

It started off with a cooler and wetter than normal spring which delayed 

bud burst. A long, cool but dry summer showed steady growth in the 

vines which made for optimal ripeness with bright, natural acidity in the 

fruit. With an extended warm fall and prolonged hang-time the grapes 

showed excellent balance with great concentrations of flavours.”
